Eap Commitee:

who are we

What is the EAP Committee?
The EAP committee represents the diversity of affiliations on campus.
The Employee Assistance Program consists of equal representation from labor and management (administrative areas). The purpose of the EAP Committee is to oversee the direction of the program and ensure its continued support from the represented constituents for the benefit of employees, their families, and the wider University community.

Therefore, the EAP Committee consists of seven union representatives and seven management representatives. Each is responsible for acting as a liaison with the group of individuals they represent. Additionally, they assist in promoting EAP on campus, attend trainings and wellness programs, and participate in monthly EAP committee meetings. Committee members are restricted from working directly with clients. The Binghamton University Employee Assistance Program Committee oversees the scope and integrity of EAP activities.
